While a student is enrolled in a Saint Paul Public School, official school records are kept at the school the student is presently attending in that student’s Education Record Folder. This folder holds the data that school officials believe is needed to provide the best instructional services for each student. Parts of the official student record, such as health records or Special Education files, may be stored at locations in the school where those services are provided, to create easier access.

Census and related administrative information is kept in a computerized form by the district’s Information and Reporting Services office
